The Paper Trade was a terrific success!!! Come in and check our newly stocked collection of 33 cent paper. Use the credit you earned during the Paper Trade for a class, crop or something special for you.
Brrr!!! Have you noticed? Wow is it cold outside!!! Must be time for Wishful Thinking and Christmas in July!!! Our classes are with that in mind.
Our Big Card Class is happening twice in July and will feature 4 each of 5 (20 total) designs of creative Christmas cards by our Card Diva, Nichole. This class usually fills up quickly so sign up early. You can come by for a Friday or Saturday night snack n’ scrap and make more of your favorite ones and have your holiday cards done by the end of summer!!
Our Project of the Month class will be a clipboard calendar. Make it for yourself or make it for a gift. You can set it up as an academic calendar (August through July) or a traditional calendar…it’s up to you!!
We’ll have a bunch of other holiday and gift giving inspired classes too. Come check it out.
It has also occurred to us that many of our Scrappin’ friends have been “commissioned” to help with the events of our friends and family. If you are one of those and your task is to help out with the event program, check out the Monthly Tips section of the web site in July. Using a wedding as an event, there are a ton of ideas of how to make a program. They can be easily adapted for a Quincenera, Anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Family Reunion or other special event.
Our Kid’s Korner and For Teen’s Only classes are clipping right along. They will be offered only through the end of July and then go away untill next summer. Kid’s Korner is on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 for students 7 through 12. For Teens Only is on Thursdays from 1 – 3 students 13 through 19. After chatting with the participants from last year, it was decided that exceptions will not be made on age groups in order to best accommodate the students in the class and the project design.
